Two of Scotland's best known office agents, Andy Cunningham of CBRE and Colin Mackenzie of Knight Frank, are to launch an agency start-up.
Market sources said Cunningham. head of Glasgow Office Agency & Development and a senior director at CBRE, and Colin Mackenzie, a Partner at Knight Frank, recently resigned ahead of the joint launch of a new real estate adviser in Glasgow focused on Scottish offices agency advice.
Cunningham, who joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2007 and was a partner and head of business space agency, returned to CBRE as a senior director in its advisory & transaction services team in Glasgow in 2017.
He has been involved in some of the largest leasing transactions across Scotland. Prior to his time at Cushman & Wakefield, and before stints with Knight Frank and Lambert Smith Hampton, he started his career at Richard Ellis which later became CBRE.
MacKenzie is one of the leading office agents in Glasgow with more than 20 years experience. He started at Jones Lang Wootton in the 1990s before working with CB Hillier Parker and CBRE, DTZ and now Knight Frank. He has been involved in some of the largest office schemes and acquisitions in Glasgow including to Morgan Stanley, British Steel Pension Fund, JP Morgan, Smith & Williamson, Network Rail and others.
